Extractionists in Florida Make the News

In West Palm Beach, Florida, more than a few people Recognized several Resemblances in the same cloud and sent them in to news stations. The news outlets were also moved by the Resemblances and decided to cover them today.
Many shared their images which showed different angles of the 'angel' cloud.
Cristina Pina thought the cloud resembled a sea monkey. While Steve Massie informed that “seeing shapes and faces in non-human objects is called “pareidolia.”
Nick Stanley even saw the dark lord – Lucifer, in the cloud. Jodi Guthrie was the first, but not the last, to send in a photo.

Jesus is Floored

Today's Extractionist is Jay Wells. He has been Recognizing Resemblances in patterns since he was a child and one of his Extractions has finally made the news, specifically, the Chronicle Hearald.
“Where I go for a massage, I see Santa Claus and Abraham Lincoln in the carpet. Most recently, I was getting my eyes checked and I could see one of my miniature dachshunds in the carpet. It’s just a thing that I’ve done forever.
“Since I was a kid, I would look at the wall and see monsters in the knots in my grandmother’s cottage.”
This time, he has found the face of Jesus, in a most appropriate place, because as a carpenter, it’s only natural that Jesus has chosen to return to Earth in a pine floorboard of Jay Wells Salon in Halifax.
The Resemblance was covered by the bed where women lay while getting waxed until Wells went into the room to rearrange the furniture.
“I had a staff member leave and so I came into this room thinking, hmm, what am I going to do now, and I sat on the end of this bed and I was, ‘Oh my God, it’s Jesus!’” Wells said Friday.
“People say he looks kind of surprised, and I say ‘Well, he has witnessed a lot of Brazilians, he’s not your typical Jesus.’”
Wells says everyone he shows the floor to immediately agrees it looks like Jesus, the Herald reports.

Holy Water

Some times a Resemblance can be so uncanny as to be a Replica and if Recognized in a situation that is theme-appropriate it is sure to have staying power. Such is the case with the falling baptismal water that Resembles a Cross and Rosary. Although this story first appeared in October 2009, it still has resurrections on the internet, usually as a chain letter with a message of faith and prayer, and enjoys popularity at varying intervals with a new one occurring at the moment.

“The photo was captured during Valentino Mora’s baptism. The moment priest Osvaldo Macaya throws holy water, the falling liquid forms a rosary. The story started on October 10, when the month-old baby, son of Erica Mora, a 21-years-old single mother was baptized. The photo of Valentino’s baptism has raised the locals’ faith. They go to Erica Mora’s house to touch the boy.” [cadena3]

On the other hand the priest himself wasn't very happy with it:

“The photographer, [MarĂa Silvana], was very happy [when she discovered the image] and soon the whole town knew about it. I don’t like those signs, I hold the sacraments. Actually the Bible for this week says ‘this perverse and evil generation asks for a sign, and it will not be given to them because it has the sign of Jonah, and here there’s someone else besides Jonah, referring to Jesus’ death at the cross for everyone’s salvation”, says father Macaya.

Cleanliness is Next to Godliness

Cleanliness is next to Godliness. That is especially the case at one blessed New Jersey car wash where the Virgin Mother herself allegedly appeared Monday in a cloud of smoke. In October of last year, national news agencies covered the story of how the holy mother's Resemblance materialized in front of Olden Avenue Car Wash attendant Alex Leiva as he was preparing for work at 9:30 a.m.
It was a dramatic arrival for the Recognition, as it was preceded by flashing lights and the cloud of smoke, according to Leiva.  As the worker ran toward the building in Ewing, the smoke cleared and the outline of Mary carrying baby Jesus formed in the window of the car wash tunnel.
Leiva, who is a native of Honduras, was able document the ephemeral Replica before it disappeared again. He sent the images to his family and local ministers back home.
